Pattern (which I did NOT create!): [link]
Daily Progress: [link]
Progression video: [link]
Fan page: [link]

This took 130 days with 914 hours of work. (Okay, way less hours than that because I was constantly stopping but that's what got written down.) This means it took me less than one day to do a single Pokemon - I averaged about 6 hours per Pokemon.

Want to commission me? Send me a note and we can discuss! (No, I will not do something this big, it's insane!)
Here's my Etsy shop: [link]

June 27 Edit:

Holy. Crap. You guuuuuys! I got a DD! Thank you so much, it means a lot! I will reply to every comment that I can and thank you all in advance for the favorites! <3

If you like the original Pokemon music and this cross-stitch, you should find some enjoyment out of me in this:

Rant: Genwunners
Genwunners
The Scum of the pokemon fanbase, they are snobby hypocritical elitists that believe every pokemon game after Gen 1 (and maybe gen 2) sucks and is not pokemon. Their opinions are often shallow and hypocritical, and are always easy to counter. Why Genwunners are so terrible can be summed up as follows

Biased and often hypocritical opinions
-Genwunners constantly complain about how "unoriginal" new Pokemon are, even though gen 1's pokemon are just as, if not more unoriginal than other generations, seriously, how is a living pile of shit (grimer/muk) original?. Not only that, but genwunners are bold enough to claim that gen 1 Pokemon are superior to all other pokemon in existence. So by that logic only 151 out of the total 712 pokemon are any good, and those 151 are also superior to the remaining 561 pokemon who should all be considered garbage right? Wrong, there are many pokemon in the remaining 561 that EASILY trump the first 151. You think dragonite is awesome? Try Hydreigon, who is a three headed beast of a dragon! Think mewtwo is great? Meet Arceus, who is literally GOD!

Waaaaaay too overprotective
-Genwunners are far too overprotective and will fiercely and maliciously attack all gen 1 haters, but they'll even attack people for making the smallest negative remarks of their precious generation 1. The thing that makes this unbridled over-protectiveness really stupid is the fact that most of the gen 1 haters hate gen 1 because of the genwunners existence. So in other words, the genwunners inadvertently created the haters they so despise.

Very close minded, and very stubborn
-Genwunner's are immature in that they apparently can't handle change. You know, one of the driving forces that makes the world go round, and the primary driving force behind the evolution of mankind since its birth, yeah, that one. The fact that genwunners can't handle the same thing that caused the creation of gen 1 in gthe first place is truly baffling. This is clearly shown by the fact that, no matter how well recieved a new pokemon game is among the better part of the fanbase, they'll always find something to bitch about. Not only that, but this is yet another area where genwunners end up countering their own opinions, they complain about evolutions of their precious gen 1 pokemon, even though they are asking for evolutions anyways. Not only that, but they are some of the most unpleasable pricks this side of the sonic fanbase.

Very arrogant and self centered
-Genwunners are very arrogant, they consider themselves to be the best of the pokemon fanbase, and will fiercely attack and berate anyone who thinks otherwise, when in fact, they are the absolute worst of the fanbase, they are the scum at the bottom of the barrel, and are not true pokemon fans, despite what they may claim.

Conclusion
-Genwunners are idiotic, snobbish, stubborn, immature, close-minded, self centered, arrogant, hypocritical, and way too overprotective. They are scum, no, worse than scum, they are the shit at the bottom of the barrel of the pokemon fanbase, and if you ask me, they need to SHUT THE FUCK UP! Or GET THE FUCK OUT of the fan base. If you dislike gens 2 through 6, that's fine, but for the love of arceus, do NOT shove your hate in our faces!

Nothing too personal, just spreading the word.

I've seen all the patterns on spritestitch myself and I have been tempted to try them but I can't figure out what size Aida I should use, I know it's in inches on the page but what is the size in centimeters? =/

Other then that, great work! It's quite a detailed piece! <3

I am attempting this but I could only find 14 count Aida do you think that will be okay?

I am using 14 count. I couldn't find an 18 count, so I got an extra big 14 count, and it works just fine. I have about 30 extra stitches on both sides, and about 15 extra on the top and bottom. Since I made sure I had enough room it works the same.

I am attempting this project as a gift for my friend, and I'm having some problems :( (Sad)  How did you do the back stitching? The pattern you linked (which is the one I'm using) doesn't come with the back stitch on it, so I'm wondering how you did it or if you did it at all? I've just finished the first page, and I'm now at the dilemma of do I continue onto page two, or do I try and do the backstitching with no guide? Thanks for any help!

:D I bought the largest fabric available to me, which was 30x36 inches. The final product is smaller than that but the other cloths (at least, ones that I can find) were all too small in comparison. I want to say I used 18 count Aida but it's been like, two years so I could be remembering wrong. XD It was either 18 count or higher though.
